Avocado and Yogurt Dip

Makes 1 cup


  • 1 medium, ripe avocado, peeled and seed removed

  • ½ cup low-fat, plain yogurt

  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil

  • 2 Tablespoon lime juice

  • ½ teaspoon sea salt, optional

Seasoned Cook: Since homemade dressings do not contain preservatives, they have a shorter life than store-bought dressings. These recipes will keep for about 1 week in the refrigerator, depending on the ingredients.



  • Put all ingredients in a food processor and mix. If you are a garlic lover, simply add a crushed clove. Serve with vegetables.
